Input:
1. The speed sensor (ESS) has three wires and is located on the underside of the engine. This magnetic sensor measures the engine speed and fuel injection advance through a moving two-piece multi-tooth ring gear located on the 5th and 6th cylinders between the crankshafts.
2. The engine position sensor has three wires, which are located on the left rear side of the timing gear chamber housing, just below the fuel injection pump. Its function is to measure the position of the 1-cylinder piston during the diagnostic test.
3. The intake manifold temperature sensor has two lines, located at the left rear of the cylinder head, indicating the intake air temperature.
4. The intake manifold pressure sensor has three wires, located on the left rear of the cylinder head, indicating the turbocharger intake pressure.
5. The coolant temperature sensor has two wires, located on the front and top of the cylinder head, indicating the temperature of the coolant in the engine.
